POSTCARD PRINTING AS ADVERTISING
Postcard printing may really be the least expensive sales tool since the introduction of ink and paper. Postcards can be printed in just about any size, and can be hand addressed, or run through a printer to add addressing information. And postcards are printed in cover stock, so they are tough enough to hold up to the wear and tear of mailing and still look stunning when they arrive.

POSTCARD PRINTING AND COLOR
Using our full color offset presses, we print postcards in one of three ways: 4/0 (4 over zero), which means full color one side and blank on the back; 4/1 (4 over 1), which means full color on one side and black ink only on the back; and 4/4 (4 over 4), which means full color on both sides. The most common way to print color on a postcard is 4/1 (4 over 1), but the other options are always available.

HOW MANY COLORS IS FULL COLOR ON A POSTCARD?
Full color can be a few colors, or millions of colors. Virtually every item that is printed in reasonably large quantities and in color, including brochures, catalogs, posters, postcards, business cards, presentation folders and all the rest, is printed using the four process colors: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. That is where the standard abbreviation CMYK comes from.

POSTCARDS AND COATING
Postcard printing can be done on coated or uncoated (matte) stock. Most postcards are printed with coating on the front side. Ordinarily you would not want your color postcards coated on the back, since the back side of a postcard is usually reserved for writing, putting on postage, and/or putting on addressing information. But every printed item is unique, so we offer just about every option.
